Genevieve is an executive coach working with individuals and teams. She has 15 years of experience as a coach in private, public and not for profit sectors. Her areas of specialisation are leadership, team development and strategy.
Genevieve also spent 15 years in the corporate sector in general management and project management roles in the financial services industry. She worked in product management and development, strategy, project management and managing business lines.
Genevieve learned most about leadership when she started to manage business lines and realised she needed to develop new practices in leading people having previously focused mostly on task management. She draws on this hands-on experience to facilitate others to expand their self-awareness, learn how to adapt their style to motivate diverse groups and developing an effective communication style to gain buy-in from stakeholders including board of directors. Some of her most notable achievements include leading the transformation of an insurance business and establishing two start-ups in the general insurance and superannuation industries.
As a team coach, she draws on her experience and continuous professional development to design and deliver team coaching programs that are firmly linked to their organisation context and that produce results. She works with content such as strategy and business planning and brings expertise in facilitating improved communication processes that support the team to have more productive conversations.
Genevieve’s business experience means that she is at ease with business challenges such as innovating for growth, shaping leadership culture to drive transformational change, improving leadership team effectiveness and lifting team performance.
In her spare time Genevieve loves spending time with her family, walking along coastlines, taking herself out of her comfort zone in personal and professional development and staying healthy.
