Graeme Reid

“Graeme has coached me through what is certainly proving to be the biggest transformation of my life and career. In what feels like a very short space of time, I have found and acted on the courage necessary to make significant change. His coaching skills are a given – he’s a great listener, present, shows no judgement, is solutions focused, and creates a safe space to explore - but what I have found to be unique is his authenticity, absence of ego, and generosity of time, knowledge and experience.”
Senior Executive, Financial Services

After 30 years in the professional services sector as an international corporate tax partner with two of the big 4 international accounting firms, Graeme switched careers to focus on developing an executive coaching practice in 2012.

Having worked Edinburgh, London, New York, Sydney and Singapore, he offers a rare blend of experience, having worked with senior global executives, and an empathic and pragmatic coaching style.

She enjoys working with businesses to shape the leadership culture and enable transformational change to occur for both the organisation and individuals alike.

Graeme enjoys working as a coach and facilitator with individuals and teams to make a difference. He works extensively with senior professionals looking to develop their practices, senior executives looking to develop their leadership capabilities and careers, and senior leaders in government organisations seeking to enhance their effectiveness and lead change. Much of his work is in supporting leaders to lift out of their technical specialist focus to expand their leadership repertoire with a focus on developing emotional intelligence to build more effective relationships and networks. Although based in Sydney he currently works with clients in the UK, US, Singapore, Europe, Canberra, Brisbane, and Sydney.

One of his inspirations to begin coaching as a career was to help executives realise their full potential and help them make a difference. He is also inspired by group coaching; working with a group/team to enable changes not only in the team dynamics but also in the broader system in which participants work.

Throughout his career in the accountancy profession he gained extensive experience in counselling, mentoring and coaching, and has also been heavily involved in managing career progression and leadership development. He is an advocate of maintaining a healthy work/life balance. His global experience has also provided Graeme a deep appreciation of cultural differences and the issues and opportunities that these present.

Graeme lives with his partner in Cammeray and has two adult children living in the UK. A keen golfer, diver and a fitness fanatic and previously a keen marathon runner. He is also a big supporter of rugby and cricket.
